FestiFiap2024: «African International Festival of Performances»
FestiFiap, from the company MALOBA, is a festive time of Bordeaux and its surroundings that highlights a city, its inhabitants, its public squares, its heritage, its structures, etc... Saint Amand was bishop of Bordeaux in the 5th century and is the patron saint of Bruch. Oral tradition tells that in the 5th century, Saint Amand, passing through the region, baptized the first Christians in the area, thanks to the water from a spring that gushed from his prayers (the Saint-Amand fountain). The church of Saint-Amand and its bell tower: inaugurated in 1855, the church is one of the oldest monuments of Caudéran. Its bell tower has just been renovated. This is why this action, in partnership with the City of Bordeaux and its City Hall of Quartier Caudéran, comes to enhance this work by contemporary arts.
