Growing Wild are delighted to present a Day in the Wild for children ages 5-13 years old. Based at our site in Donadea, Co. Kildare, the children will get a chance to experience a Forest School themed session, which allows children connect to nature through child led play.
We will be offering time in nature, free play, nature themed crafts, den building, rope work, nature crafts, mud kitchen play, make and create with tools, we also play games to increase our nature connection, these sessions are underpinned by our method which is child led- and choice based, to allow for the holistic development of the child and to facilitate getting kids back to nature, in all weathers.
Group 1: Age range: 5–8-year-olds, time: 10-12pm
Group 2: Age range: 8-12/13-year-olds, time: 1-3pm
