Free admission to Céide Fields visitor centre with state of the art presentations including an exciting audio-visual immersive experience. Meet our ancestors from the hunter gatherers, to the first farmers and the metalworkers. See how the local environment and landscape has been ever changing. Experience the fascinating story of the ongoing discovery of the most extensive stone age landscape. Guided walking tours of the site allow you to see the exposed field walls and dwelling enclosure and try being an archaeologist by probing for a hidden wall. Walk on the bog with it’s colourful mosses, heathers, lichens, sedges and insect-eating sundews, to the background music of the lark. Céide Ladle café available in the centre from 10:30 to 5pm.
