As part of Heritage Week 2024 Kilkenny Castle is offering free admission on Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th of August. Discover the ancestral home of the Butler Family with a free self-guided visit to the magnificent Victorian period rooms of Kilkenny Castle. No advance booking required, tickets will be available from our ticket desk from 9:15am. We will have an outdoor que in operation. Please note that this is a very busy site and visitor may experience delays. Last admission is 5pm Partial wheelchair access, children must be supervised.
