The local history museum of Marchiennes traces all the history of the city and its abbey, from prehistory to the two world wars through the passage of the Vikings, the reform of 1024, the 1712 siege by the French, the revolution and the Empire. You will also see objects from everyday life in the 19th century. Note: the museum is located in the old prisons of the Marchiennes bailiwick. Informations free during the Heritage Days
