Discover the richness and variety of works in the collection of the Château de Sceaux, as well as the professions and behind-the-scenes of a museum! Some objects, unknown to the public because kept in storage due to their fragility, are shown for the very first time. The first part of the exhibition is devoted to the progressive construction of the collection and the technical and indispensable operations, such as keeping an inventory. The second part presents the treasures of the museum more strictly speaking, by offering a selection of major works, as well as objects with an unsuspected existence. The exhibition ends with the presentation of conservation issues. Two spaces are also dedicated to discussing the packaging of works and the preparation of an exhibition. Mediators will be present in the exhibition to help you discover the treasures of the Castle and answer all your questions. Attention, the building does not include a PMR toilet.
