Overview

Our Lady of Kerluan Chapel Free visit: welcome by the chapel committee. Chapel of the 16th, restored to the 18th. Latin cross plan; octagonal sacristy to the south; two counterforts on the west gable wall; pointed arch porch. The date of 1623, inscribed on the upper lintel of its double bell chamber, makes the bell tower of Notre-Dame de Kerluan, the first Renaissance bell tower in the Aulne valley. Calvary dated 1639, made by Roland Doré.To see Murals (18th - early 19th), Statue of a nursing virgin of the 2nd half of the 16th, in kersanton stone, bearing traces of polychrome, inscribed on the supplementary inventory to the list of classified movable objects, Octagonal sacristy, Stained glass windows by painter Jean-François Chaussepied (late 20th - early 21st) and master glassmakers A.
