Built in the 11th century by the noble family of Adhémar, lords of Montélimar, this medieval site impresses as much by its location as by its history still partly unknown. Its remains, its keep, its ramparts and its medieval village make it a place apart, full of atmosphere. Good news this year for visitors on their own! The castle now offers a free course enriched with explanatory and fun panels, designed for young and old. On your way, you will be able to turn a disc to discover the rocks that make up the site, lift valves to test your knowledge, drag characters into a labyrinth or even associate coats of arms with good lordly families.
