Overview

Dedicated to Saint Martin of Tours, the church has a single nave with straight chevet arched with ogives, preceded by a rustic canopy. This architecture is typical of the churches of Gâtinais. It is equipped with a square bell tower, more recent, capped in saddleback. The old bell tower, of which only the base remains, seems to have been very different. The interior of the church consists of four bays, the last two of which form the choir. The sacristy was built in 1680. The church, which was falling into ruin, undergoes major repairs in 1809. It seems that at the end of the 15th century, the church is so poor that the holy sacrament cannot be preserved there.
