In 1868, the municipality decides to build, instead the old(former) church of the Jacobins, the covered market in sanitary conditions and conditions of optimum facilities. Raised(Brought up) between 1873 and 1875 on the plans of Clement Weinberger and inspired by workshops Eiffel, four detached houses(flags) of metal and of glass adorn with an elegant decoration.
