Located in the heart of the Black Mountain, the reservoir of Saint-Ferréol is, since the end of the seventeenth century, the water supply center of the Canal du Midi. It is there, at the foot of the dike, in the old House of the engineer, that is found the Museum-Gardens of the Canal du Midi offering visitors a unique view of its history. From the brilliant intuition of Pierre-Paul Riquet to the UNESCO classification, the museum presents the Canal du Midi through different themes.
