Overview

Echoing the story of the Cuivrerie de Cerdon, this temporary exhibition reveals emblematic inventions of the Industrial Revolution, illustrated by a selection of toys and reduced models from private collections as well as from original LEGO brick creations® designed by the NovabricK association. What would our daily life be without the train, the plane, the phone, photography or the web? The history of humanity is marked by discoveries and great inventions. Those of the Industrial Revolution changed the face of the world forever. This new era, who has everything turned upside down, is a real race for progress born in the smoke of factory chimneys at the end of the 18th century in Great Britain. Spanning centuries and crossing borders, it has transformed the way we work, live, move, consume and communicate. In reality, there are not one, but several Industrial Revolutions between the invention of the steam engine and the era of everything connected that we are currently experiencing. Throughout the journey, you are accompanied by Gaston, a character evoking a former worker of the Copper industry, who delivers anecdotes about this wonderful industrial adventure and presents the portrait of famous inventorss.
