The Saint-Louis church is a fine example of the renewal of sacred art at the beginning of the 20th century. The architects Jacques Droz and Joseph Marrast brought together on the site some of the most renowned artisans and artists of this movement: Maurice Denis and Henry Marret, Maurice Dhomme or even Raymond Subes. The church was classified as a Historic Monument in 1996. A major restoration project of Henry Marret’s frescoes has just been completed which allowed them to regain all their brilliance.
