Explore the wonders of the Wool world. Creating sustainable clothing from wool is an ancient art. We will explore and learn with guests from Fiber shed how farmers can prepare Thier fleece to get better yeilds from their clip. There will be drop spindle lessons and spinning wheel demonstrations as well as weaving, crochet and knitting workshops for children and adults. There will be wool carding and preparing deminstration and a talk in natural dyes there will be a talk on Galway wool and Irish native breeds. We also have an exhibition of local photographs and a display of farm gates.
