Hear the true story of the connection between Sligo and the infamous Australian bushranger Ned Kelly, as told by author Michael O'Connor in his Book "From Sligo to Stringybark." On the 26th of October, 1879, Kelly killed three Irish-born policemen, one of whom was from Sligo. Hear how the event unfolded and how Kelly was eventually brought to justice. Join us on Friday, August 16th at 8PM in Skreen Parish Church (F91 CP38). Refreshments following.
