Overview:
G3 Growers is a vibrant inner city Community Garden in the heart of Finnieston. Led by volunteer members, we grow fruits and vegetables in brand new raised beds dedicated to perennial herbs and soft fruits, and the other three beds work on a crop rotation system. The Garden also counts on dwarf trees and two large greenhouses. embers gather every Wednesday evening (6-8PM) and on the last Sunday of the month (1-3pm). With the sun and the good weather come the crops, so whoever is present at the session gets a slice of the produce harvested that evening. We love to share our recipes on our members' group chat.
The garden is accessible for wheelchairs and buggies, please note the paths are gravel/ small pebbles. It’s a quiet space, water bottles can be filled on site.
The nearest train and/ or subway station is Exhibition Centre (5-10 mins away for pedestrians).
