25 September 2021 (10am - 4pm) 26 September 2021 (10am - 4pm) Shetland Gaada
is based in the former Burra Isle Methodist Chapel. The chapel was founded in
1893 and enjoyed a rich 122 years at the very heart of Burra community life.
The chapel held last service in 2015 and remained empty until it was taken on
by local artists in 2018. The building is a traditional stone-built
construction with Norwegian wood floors and v-lining throughout. For Doors
Open Days 2021 Gaada is opening its doors across the weekend, for a chance to
look inside the historic and now repurposed church building. There is no need
to book but Gaada kindly ask visitors to wear masks when inside the building,

yourself in Shetland dialect, often used by a host to encourage guests when
