In Person Gaada is based in the former Burra Isle Methodist Chapel. The
chapel was founded in 1893 and has enjoyed being at the very heart of Burra
community life for nearly 130 years. The chapel held last service in 2015 and
remained empty until artists began using it in 2018. The building is a
traditional stone-built construction with Norwegian wood floors and v-lining
throughout. For Doors Open Days 2022 Gaada is opening its doors across the
weekend, for a chance to look inside the historic and now repurposed church

range of prints, cards and badges. Entry across the weekend is by drop-in.
