Drop in to discover what Joyce Country and Western Lakes Geopark Is all about, how to get involved with it and chat with your local geologist and other representatives.
JCWL GeoEnterprise, the cross community organisation that supports the Geopark development and represents all the geopark communities in it s governance, is joining the Geopark staff to showcase what the Geopark is about to the 3 towns of the region where the majority of its population resides, namely Ballinrobe in Co Mayo and Oughterard and Headford in Co Galway.

We will have a stand displaying our maps and video resources and a range of local rocks and fossil samples for our resident geologist to showcase. Everyone is welcome to these free events, children and adults alike.
