The Goethe-Institut is opening its doors to interested visitors. There will be an exhibition in collaboration with the University of Strathclyde and some exciting workshops:
Sustainable Twins
Discover the remarkable connections between twinned Scottish and German cities, and how they address the urgent challenges of the climate crisis through innovative projects and interactive installations.
Students from the University of Strathclyde's Department of Architecture have delved deep into the unique bonds of four twin city partnerships: Aberdeen & Regensburg, Dundee & Würzburg, Edinburgh & Munich, and Glasgow & Nuremberg.
Game Design Workshop with Viviane Schwarz
Join us for a relaxed, open-ended workshop where visitors of all ages can explore the basics of game design - through drawing, storytelling, or gameplay.
Stay as long as you like, put your own ideas into motion, and enjoy the game that is created together.

Overview:
The premises of the Goethe-Institut Glasgow were designed in 1857 by the Glasgow architect Charles Wilson. They are a remarkable example of mid-19th century architecture, featuring a series of terraced Italianate townhouses in a grand oval shape. Visit us to explore our library, German language resources, and our international projects across visual arts, performing arts, film, and music.
