Our Walk Leader is William McElhinney, local Marine Guide. This 2 hour entertaining walking tour explores the rich maritime heritage town of Moville, covering traditional boats, historical voyages, ancient settlements, and the role of the sea in shaping the town’s history and culture.

Participants will gain an insight into the significance of Moville’s maritime activities from ancient times to the modern era. We explore the seashore and discover the rich biodiversity of the intertidal area focusing on the variety of seaweeds.
