The Terre de l'Aubepin was a modest fief, with a small castle, whose origin is unknown, but whose history has been followed since the beginning of the 15th century. The castle, of which some remains remain, was destroyed in 1856\\. Commons built square on each side of the castle, formed a large courtyard are still visible today.
