Overview

Dear visiting friends,

We will walk in the park of Fondat "in the company" of the poet André Chénier and Abel de Malartic de Fondat, his childhood friend. Gulliver and Colossus, Zelvovas multisecular, remarkable trees of France will tell us about the ancestral history of Fondat. Then, at the reading of a poem addressed to Abel, the friend of always, we will dive into the life of the owners of Fondat in this final 18th century. The architecture of the 18th-century dovecot will challenge us, it is partly dismantled. Finally, we will cross the First Empire and will have the explanation of the architecture of the Grand Pavilion.
