Exceptional opening of the Magic Hortus – European Heritage Days 2025

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the Magic Hortus exceptionally opens its doors to the public. This constantly changing garden, imagined by François Alix, mixes sculptures, rough constructions and spontaneous vegetation. A rare, living place where recycled material becomes an artistic gesture, and where the landscape transforms over time. At the same time place of life, evolving work and ecological manifesto, it offers a sensitive immersion in a universe where raw architecture dialogues with the imaginary. Two events complete this exceptional opening: 📸 Photographic exhibition by Pascal Denis Tirel A photographic exhibition accompanies this opening. Signed Pascal Denis Tirel, it reveals the invisible details of the garden: its materials, its shapes, its stigmata and its soul. A sensitive gaze posed on the unnoticed, its silences, its textures, its breaths. 🌱 The Greened Illustrious take root – Installation France Design Week As part of France Design Week 2025, the public will be able to discover a contemporary installation designed by Olivia de Kertel: The vegetal Illustrious are taking root. This series of sculpted structures is inspired by local figures from Touraine. They combine collective memory, local crafts, short circuit and contemporary utility, in resonance with the national theme: the useful object. Their vertical shapes, made from sustainable materials, are designed to promote the creation of mini-ecosystems: shadow zones, habitats for biodiversity, moisture reservoirs, symbolic refuges.
