Residence of the lord of the Ile de Ré in the eighteenth century, currently hotel. Built between 1711 and 1721, steeped in history and imprinted with the personality of its owners, including the famous Madame de Tencin, La Baronnie is a heritage splendour. The owners offer 2 tours on Saturday, September 21 at 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm (on reservation) a guided tour of this beautiful house and its gardens, nestled in the heart of Saint-Martin de Ré, close to the port. The visit of La Baronnie, listed in the Inventory of Historic Monuments, will begin with the inner courtyard and a presentation of its history, before crossing the bar and visiting the gardens offering a complete view of the facade. This, like the interior of the building, has been gradually and completely renovated by the current owners. This informative visit can be extended, for those who wish, by a moment of relaxation in the garden, with a drink, the Bar 1721 will be open to consumption* for the occasion. * alcohol abuse
