History of watchmaking around mechanisms under repair in the workshop (30min)

After a succinct introduction of the history of watchmaking starting from antiquity, we will dwell further on certain mechanisms.
  • Clock Comtoise (also called Franc-Comtoise, Rooster Clock, Parquet Clock...)
  • Chimney clock (Paris movement)
  • Beef eye or Morbier;
  • Hello or Black Forest;
  • Officer’s clock or travel clock;
  • Carillon ;
  • Pocket watch.
