The castle of Cingle is an old(former) strong house of the XIIIth and XVth century. Built on the bases of a Gallo-Roman villa, the castle of Cingle, again seems to defend(forbid) the entrance(entry) of Vernas, small village located at the foot of the cliffs of the tray(plateau) of Crémieu, facing the plain of Lyon.
