The village of Saint Pantaléon is located between five kilometers southeast of Gordes and twenty kilometers west of the city of Apt, in a small depression traversed by the Immergue, tributary of the Calavon. The Church is built at the western end of the valley on a small limestone hill. This space is in the medieval period, included within the limits of the diocese of Cavaillon. Saint Pantaléon owes its name to its church, which is at the centre of its history and monumental landscape.
