Overview
Clinging to its hill, among vineyards and orchards, the city of Montpezat-de-Quercy, once surrounded by a wall pierced by 4 gates, was built on the last foothills of Quercy. The white stone houses built above the ramparts huddle against the Collegiate Church, built in the 14th century in the Gothic style by the cardinal des Prés. Inside are unique Flemish tapestries, evoking the life of Saint Martin and his legend.
