The Croix district is the emblematic place of the birth of the commune of Locmiquélic. It began to develop around 1870 with the construction of the first school and chapel long before the creation of the section which will have a civil registry office in 1899 and which will become an autonomous commune in 1919\\. We invite you to discover the history of the places that were then the administrative and religious center, to evoke scenes of the life of yesteryear and to explain its evolution and its fragmentation for the benefit of other sectors over time.
