The amphitheater decorated by Jean Cocteau is a truly exceptional place nestled in the heart of the pines. Open only for this occasion, we offer you a visit out of time. In 1957, Jean Moreau, founder of the Centre Méditerranéen, invited Jean Cocteau, then resident in Cap-Ferrat, to come and attend the performance of a play by Garcia Lorca given by the students. Jean Cocteau will become the friend of Jean Moreau and the Mediterranean Center. He will regularly return to practice his art until 1963, the year of his disappearance.
