Overview

Association for the research and archiving of Armenian memory Created in Marseille in 1997 by Jean Garbis ARTIN (1930-2012), the association for research and archiving of Armenian memory (ARAM) ensures the collection, conservation and enhancement of archives on the Armenian diaspora in France and in Europe. More than 2 linear kilometers of books and archives, from 1885 to the present day, are preserved there. Ancient documents, Nansen passports, portraits of photographic studios, Franco-Armenian yearbooks from the 1920s, records of Camp Oddo, 78 rpm records, collections of newspapers and magazines will be presented by the ARAM team who will accompany you to make you discover or rediscover some preserved treasures. During the European Heritage Days, find us for 2 open days on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September 2025 from 10am to 6pm at the headquarters of the association at: 8 bis, place Pélabon 13013 Marseille
