Guided tour of the castle of Bougey and temporary exhibitions
First mentioned in 1350, the castle of Bougey, located between Jussey and Combeaufontaine, was one of the advanced fortresses on the borders of Burgundy, France and Lorraine. The remains still visible today date mainly from the 15th to the 17th century. The association for the Safeguarding of the castle (ASCB) organizes every year many animations: concerts, craft market, exhibitions, historical reenactments, conferences, animations young public, etc. The ASCB is also the owner of an ambitious project to restore the stables, whose first work began last April on the south wing of the stables. The project is expected to last until 2027\\. The European Heritage Days will be an opportunity to learn about the history of the castle and its safeguarding association, to visit the two temporary exhibitions and to attend the presentation of the works already carried out and future projects.
