Come and discover this castle located south of the village of Chaux-des-Crotenay. The site is strategically well located, controlling access to the upper plateau of the Haut Jura and Switzerland. Since 2010, this castle has been the subject of an archaeological study. Excavations have uncovered a sleeper swing bridge, a rear swinging drawbridge and many unique structures in the area. The meeting place for the visit is located in the parking lot of the Sainte-Marguerite church. Informations Access to the castle site by a path, provide a good pair of shoes (15 to 20 minutes walk).
