Overview

🏛️ Guided tour: A historic house on the banks of the Lot

Discover this remarkable residence, built in the Middle Ages, enlarged and embellished during the Renaissance, then remodeled at the beginning of the 19th century.

The recent renovation work has revealed real architectural treasures:
  • a medieval room arched in bricks,
  • mullioned windows, once exterior,
  • and new lighting on a Gothic stone spiral staircase. So many elements that testify to the architectural refinement cultivated by the de Lustrac family, and the rich history of this house where lived Marguerite de Lustrac, the famous "Beautiful Maréchale of Saint-André", sung by Joachim du Bellay and immortalized by François Clouet. An exceptional place, between History, poetry and lifestyle.
