Come and discover a jewel of Beaune’s heritage renovated by the Tourist Office Beaune & Pays Beaunois. Former chapel of the thirteenth century, it was for several hundred years the place of worship attached to the hospital of the Holy Spirit, founded earlier in the Hôtel-Dieu. Like the famous Salle des Povres, the chapel has a hull structure of inverted ship. It survived the disappearance of the hospital and served for a time as an infantry shelter, before being transformed into a vaulting in the 20th century. Its renovation by the Beaune & Pays Beaunois Tourist Office, to make it its administrative headquarters, gives it a new lease of life to enter the 21st century.
