The Church was built in the 13th century, a period of architectural transition, both Romanesque and Gothic: The Romanesque style can be seen on the Corniche North side and the Corniche South As for the Gothic style it appears on the windows of the monument The nave, one of the most important parts of the Church dates from the 16th century, replacing the Romanesque nave from the 11th century. It was consecrated on July 28, 1523. The bell tower houses 3 bells but it has not always existed. On May 5, 1878, major restoration work began. The Romanesque tower, considered without style, was demolished and the current bell tower was built. This work lasted just 2 years. The bell tower of the 11th century Church was located between the nave and the choir. This bell tower was square, like those of Écrainville and Virville.
