Guided tour of the church of Saint-Marie de Campôme
The Church of Saint Mary, also known as the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, was erected in 1671\\. Before its construction, the Campômois depended on the parish of Molitg. An engraved stone of this date at the entrance door allows to affirm its time of construction. It is then constituted by a single nave finished by its apse of 12 meters long. In 1760, the church was enlarged by its two side chapels giving it the shape of a Latin cross. It has two bell towers in the 19th century: a wall bell tower 1844 and a bell tower 1858.The church contains a remarkable heritage, including pieces of furniture such as altarpieces, antependium, roda d'esquellins, and many other wonders to discover.
