Guided tour of the historic temple of Rochefort – Lodge 'The Perfect Agreement'
A building steeped in history The lodge 'L'Accord Parfait' is one of the oldest in the Grand Lodge of France, founded in 1776 (or 1774 according to some sources) Installed in the building at 63 avenue La Fayette in Rochefort since 1843, this building was classified as a historical monument in 2014, just like its furniture. Architecture and interior heritage Built in 1842–1843, the building was restructured around an inner courtyard, including a library of more than 4,600 books, two temples and a blind meditation room, adorned with 19th century decorations The paintings and decorative elements are signed by the artist Moreau, further reinforcing the heritage dimension of this unique interior. Program of the visit 1 h – Historical and architectural tour: Visit of the emblematic facade, the interior spaces (library, temples, meditation room), and explanation of the uses related to the places.
