The House exceptionally opens its doors during the Heritage Days.

In the heart of the historic district of Auterive (Haute-Garonne), the stately home Ysalguier is a remarkable pink brick building, witness to an uninterrupted history from the Middle Ages to the present day. Among its most singular characteristics:
  • The parliament hall on the second floor, with its large fireplaces and its French-style ceiling, which has remained in a raw state for centuries
  • The prisoner’s room, where a certain Jean du Saut engraved his name, poignant memory of his detention
  • A typical half-timbered facade
  • A maze of cellars, with a mysterious basin evoking the ancient presence of a baptistery or Roman baths A place full of memory to discover for lovers of history and authentic heritage.
