Guided tour of the museum of prehistory and history
The local museum contains two floors, dedicated, the one in Prehistory, other one in local history(story). The collection of Prehistory covers the period of the old(former) Palaeolithic in the Neolithic. The old(former) average and Palaeolithic of the region is represented by double-sided. Big(Great) blades of flint, for the upper Palaeolithic, micro-chisels for the Mesolithic, and exceptional polished axes, for the Neolithic, supplement the collection. The museum also contains a collection of shells of Neolithic arrows of the Sahara, jaspers resulting(coming) from Fontmaure (Vienna) as well as a rich collection of fossils. A part(party) of exhibits results(comes) from the site of Gannes (Beaulieu-sur-Loire), especially from ceramics and from bronze fibulas.
