As in the 2022-2023 edition (artist in residence: STÉPHANE LAVOUÉ: https://www.stephanelavoue.fr/), the association decided to keep the idea of crossing eyes with a maritime territory, that of Brittany in the framework of the twinning of the commune of Combloux with the city of Concarneau (Finistère). These two regions are rich in their natural, historical and heritage heritage, but also in the harshness of their climate and their complex environment to tame. The women and men who have always lived there share many common stories. For the 2024 edition, we have invited ERIC BOUVET (https://ericbouvet.com/About) by offering him an artist’s residency in Combloux on the theme of mountain refuges in the territory of the country of Mont-Blanc. The general objective remains to place man at the heart of his environment. As regards the Breton part, the Musée de la Pente with the association «les amis de Thersi» of Douarnenez selects in its photographic collection about thirty photographs by Michel Thersiquel evoking refuges in maritime environment. -Retained items: • In the Pays du Mont-Blanc: high and medium mountain refuges, shelters and hospices. • In Brittany: the marine shelters, ports, lighthouses, islands, coves...
