Guided tour of the presbytery of Montfaucon
The Presbytery is one of the most beautiful houses in the village. A part dates from the 15th century, and belonged to the former priory. When the minor seminary was built in 1820, a wing was added to accommodate all the priests who worked as teachers. It remained closed from 2000 to 2014, after the last parish priest left the village. Rehabilitated by the volunteers of the association of Stones in Heritage in 2014, and during annual campaigns, it welcomes for 7 years pilgrims of GR46 coming from Rocamadour. The restoration work allowed to update naturalist paintings of the nineteenth century that adorned the small living room.
