Overview

The church of Auxon is a village church built by a family of labourers, the Chevillard. Perfectly maintained over the centuries, it offers a magnificent and original statuary and sometimes even mysterious. But what really makes its originality is the restoration of the stained glass windows of the sixteenth century by Félix Gaudin and the two portals, west and south, dating from 1537\\. This church is part of the cycle «one day a church» organized by the Academic Society of the Dawn in recent years.
