The Castors district was born from an eponymous social movement that became widespread in the 1950s to address the lack of housing. The uniqueness of this district from the point of view of architecture but also of urban and social history has earned the city of Guingamp to be selected by the Ministry of Culture for the heritage of the 21st century.
