La Galicière, is a former silk factory of the late eighteenth century, a unique ensemble in France, whose particularisms make it an exceptional and singular heritage object. The happenstances of history have led to us, workshops equipped with machines for the most part installed ”at the height of the Revolution”. The buildings have been included in the inventory of Historic Monuments since 2004 and the machines since 2007.
