Take advantage of guided tours to discover the history of the Crédit Municipal de Paris (former Mont-de-Piété) which has existed since 1637 and is located at 55 rue des Francs-Bourgeois since 1777! It contains within it a vestige of the enclosure of Philippe Auguste and the largest auction room in Paris. A journey through time to discover the activities of pawnbroking, auctions and solidarity savings (among others!). The guided tours offered by our partner Des Mots des Arts are free, upon reservation.
