Overview

Discover the Golf d'Ormesson on the occasion of its centenary An 18-hole course created in 1925 by Allan Jones (a student of Tom Simpson), on the initiative of Count Wladimir d'Ormesson and his friend Charles Cahen d'Anvers, was inaugurated in June 1925 in the presence of SEM.Myron T.Herrick Ambassador of the United States to France. Occupied by the troops during the Second World War, the land returned to cultivation in 1939 at the initiative of Olivier d'Ormesson who became Mayor of the City. The Golf is recreated in 1964 by J.Harris & CK.Cotton, by decision of Count André d'Ormesson who chaired the Ormesson Golf Sports Association until his death in 2014. The ensemble is completed with a club house in 1966 by the architect Paul Meige, and the interior is designed by the greatest designers of the time (Pier Fausto Bagatti, Gino Sarfati, the Marquis Francisco Del Drago, Tobia Scarpa, Perzel...). This hilly course (Par 71) still belongs to the Domaine d'Ormesson which has entrusted its operation to UGOLF.
