Built at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries by the Viscount and the Viscount of Thouars, this chapel is a rare example of transition architecture in Poitou. Former collegiate church, parish church, then necropolis of the Trémoïlle family, its rich past and its decorations halfway between Gothic art and the Renaissance make it an essential witness of the history of the city.
