Overview
Built at the beginning of the 17th century with stones from the demolition of the castle of Pierre II and the city walls, this former convent served as a hospital and then as a high school for boys. Since 1970 it has been home to the City Hall. The Baroque chapel is now used as an exhibition space. The cloister houses works by Paul Sérusier, a post-impressionist painter who was influenced by Paul Gauguin and Maurice Denis.
