Fruit of an uninterrupted family history for more than 3 centuries, the Domaine de La Presle is a wine estate that covers 15ha of vineyards in Fleurie (13 ha) and Moulin-à-Vent (1.5 ha). The buildings of the Domaine de La Presle are an exceptional testimony of sharecropping in Beaujolais in the 18th and 19th centuries. Located in the heart of the vineyard, they have become the guardians and refuges of generations of winemakers. Supported by the Heritage Foundation and recognized by the association of Maisons Paysannes de France, major restorations were undertaken between 2020 and 2022 to restore the original character of the buildings: plastered with natural lime, restitution of masonry, renovation of traditional canal tile roofing.
